The whole group had a fantastic weekend at Ullesthorpe, celebrating St. George’s Day.
The Cubs and Beavers joined the Scouts yesterday for the St George’s Day celebrations! What alot of fun they had doing various activities like making s’mores, team games and even flying along a zip wire! Great day had by all 
Our Scouts have had a fantastic St. George’s weekend at Ullesthorpe. On Saturday they planned and walked a seven mile hike from the campsite to Fosse Meadows and back via the old Fosse Way. They cooked the dinner when we returned (a variation on the infamous Pasta a la Ceri), then we had a campfire with the other troops who were camping.
